UPCOMING CLASSESS
Puppy Socialization/ Intro to Obedience
Puppies 10 weeks–6 months. Covers socialization, basic commands, confidence building, crate training, puppy play, and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy curriculum. 8-week course with owner orientation the first week.
Basic Obedience
Dogs 6 months and older. Covers heel, sit, stay, down, recall, leash manners, distractions, and everyday obedience. 8-week course with owner orientation.
Advanced Obedience
Continuation of Basic Obedience focusing on advanced skills, off-leash work, distractions, and competition preparation.
Conformation Handling
Weekly drop-in class for dogs and handlers preparing for the conformation show ring.
Scent Work
Introduction to scent detection work.
ABOUT THE CLUB
For over 50 years, the Kenosha Kennel Club has been dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership through education, training, and community involvement.
Whether you have a playful puppy, a beloved family companion, or compete in AKC events, we welcome dog lovers of all experience levels. Through year-round training classes, Canine Good Citizen testing, educational programs, and our annual all-breed dog show, we strive to strengthen the bond between people and their dogs while supporting the advancement of responsible dog ownership throughout our community.
